'Every resident farm is unique—shaped by the passions and dreams of the people who live there. Some may grow fresh produce for CSA boxes, others may raise dairy goats or keep bees. From lavender fields to flower gardens, backyard bakeries to microgreens grown indoors—creativity is encouraged, and potential is limitless.

Built-in Support, Every Step of the Way
You don’t have to know everything to get started. Our Farm Mentorship Program pairs new residents with experienced growers. University extension partnerships offer seasonal workshops and internships. We're building a true learning village—where neighbors share knowledge, equipment, and encouragement.

Pathways to Prosperity
Resident farms can generate meaningful income in a variety of ways:

• Weekly CSA boxes for local families
• Selling produce, eggs, garden starts, and farm goods at The Barn 
• Supplying ingredients to local bakeries, schools, or farm-to-table restaurants
• Hosting U-pick events, workshops, or small community farm-to-table dinners 
• Selling handmade items—preserves, teas, spice blends, freeze-dried goods, honey, candles, and more
• Hosting online workshops
