Where Community Gathers, Grows, and Gives Back
The Barn isn’t just the heart of Project Farmland — it’s where everything comes together. A place to shop, learn, share a cup of coffee, or gather with neighbors. Built with intention, The Barn blends the charm of a working farmstand with the warmth of a hometown gathering place, creating a space where local food, local makers, and local wisdom all find a home. Inside, you’ll find a year-round marketplace stocked with fresh produce, farm eggs, local honey, and handmade goods from our resident farmers and select artisans. You’ll also discover seeds, plant starts, worm castings, compost tea — all the building blocks of regenerative living.
But The Barn is more than what’s for sale. It’s what’s shared. In our teaching kitchen and classroom, we’ll host hands-on workshops in food preservation, gardening, homesteading, and more — many in partnership with local university extension programs. You might find a neighbor teaching how to bake sourdough, a visiting expert explaining soil health, or families learning to can the season’s harvest together.
Out back, picnic tables invite you to stay a little longer — maybe with coffee and a fresh pastry from the bakery, or during one of our “Movie Nights at the Farm” under the summer sky. Whether you're here for a quiet moment or a community celebration, The Barn is always open to connection.
Every purchase, every workshop, every shared experience at The Barn supports something bigger — a growing network of small farmers, a stronger local food system, and a way of life grounded in stewardship, sustainability, and community care.
At The Barn, we’re not just selling goods. We’re growing a movement — one harvest, one handshake, one meaningful moment at a time.
At the heart of Project Farmland, The Barn is more than just a marketplace—it’s a celebration of local food, artisan craftsmanship, and sustainable living.
Brimming year-round with the bounty of our resident farms and skilled artisans, The Barn offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience where every purchase supports small farmers, strengthens the local economy, and nurtures a thriving agricultural community.
