Planning Note: Funding allocations, timelines, and project phases described on this site represent current projections and planning estimates. Actual use of funds may evolve as land acquisition, permitting, partnerships, and project needs develop. Project Farmland is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship as the initiative progresses.
Project Farmland is a planned nonprofit pilot designed to show what’s possible when farmland preservation, housing, and community are thoughtfully woven together.
Support for Project Farmland helps move this work forward in intentional stages—beginning with securing land, advancing site planning and approvals, and investing in the shared infrastructure that makes small farm communities viable.
As the project progresses, funds will support the development of shared resources—such as barns, greenhouses, and essential systems—along with the legal, financial, and organizational stewardship required to manage land responsibly, support residents, and remain accountable to donors and partners.
We are deeply grateful for your support. Every contribution helps build the foundation for a place where farming, living, and long-term land stewardship can thrive together—and we’re honored to have you as part of this journey.
We are grateful for every contribution and for the trust you place in this work.
Project Farmland is organized as a nonprofit corporation and is currently seeking recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are not currently tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes unless and until a favorable determination letter is issued. If tax-exempt status is granted, it may apply retroactively to the extent permitted by law.
